Why did you start your podcast?
Francis Kong, Tammy Tran, and I wanted to stay connected and give voice to those who have overcome life obstacles and triumphed.
There's an emphasis on Asian American leadership, women’s empowerment, and productivity and "getting things done," so we have interviews with amazing entrepreneurs like Eric Basu, software engineer-fashion influencers like Steffie Harner, Star Trek actresses like Linda Park, renowned speakers like Jim Kwik, and the brilliant minds behind the Miss Asian Global and Miss Asian America Pageant.
The Imagine Talks Podcast is produced by Edge Interns & Mental Power Hacks, collaborating with the Asian America Foundation and PDX Productions, a media subdivision of The Driveway.
What has been the best thing about running your podcast?
It's fun! It's creative. There's so much that goes into publishing and distributing a podcast, but bCast has made it easy by streamlining hosting, distribution, and RSS creation.
Who is your perfect listener and how do you help them?
Those who appreciate career stories and self-development, enjoy hearing about mental performance and mental health, from a unique American perspective and an open mind.
Have you made a profit from your podcast? If not, do you plan too?
No profit! Just spreading the word!
What is your favourite thing about podcasting?
It's a wonderful way to meet people, share ideas, and give them a voice!
