How to build a profitable podcast.
This week's bCaster of the week is Maria Matloub the host of the GGUTTalks.
Let us welcome our bCaster of the week...
This week, it's Maria Matloub with the GGUTTalks - welcome Maria!
Why did you start your podcast?
The pandemic made me try new things, accelerate things and drop other things.
I thought I'd reconnect with people I met over the years and new people, entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and inspiring individuals working in the area of tech and business for good, experience design and better understand how ggutt feelings lead them in their decision-making process.
The goal is to bring new stories to life and educate on the above topics.
What has been the best thing about running your podcast?
The entire process really, it's all new to me.
From investing in some basic tech to hosting, promoting, I discover something new everyday, and I'm glad to be on bCast as it's a new platform, not overwhelming and straight forward.
My next challenge is to aggregate reviews and figure out how to boost my podcast.
Who is your perfect listener and how do you help them?
Corporates and entrepreneurs interested in combining purpose with profit, with a focus on creating humane products and services with a good end to end experience.
No buzzwords, no bulls***.
Have you made a profit from your podcast? If not, do you plan too?
Not monetary profit, but I reconnected with people, absolutely, met a few others, absolutely.
At the moment I am focusing on growing my audience.
What is your favourite thing about podcasting?
The spontaneous conversations with the guests and the focus in preparing for each interview to add value to the listeners.
